Your Responsibilities

Independent day-to-day rent accounting (not under the German Condominium Act (WEG)) for residential, commercial and mixed-use properties, taking into account the applicable VAT regulations
Posting of rent payments and other account transactions
Reconciliation of property and tenant accounts
Independent preparation of annual service charge statements, including data transfer to metering service providers
Documentation of business transactions and handover to tax advisers (Datev)

Qualifications

Professional experience in accounting-related lettings management
Ideally, experience with the Haufe PowerHaus property management software or another property management software package, as well as a good knowledge of standard Microsoft products such as MS Word and MS Excel
Knowledge of Datev
Confident command of the German language, both spoken and written
