We have invested in the Silicon Valley-based biotech company Perfect Day. It has developed a fermentation process that can produce plant-based proteins identical to those found in real cow’s milk. This process is used to manufacture plant-based dairy products, both independently and through partnerships with leading food companies.
The company was founded by Forbes award winners Ryan Pandya and Perumal Gandhi and is considered a market leader in its field. In March 2021, it was recognized by Fast Company as one of the most innovative companies. Investors such as CPP Investments, Horizons Ventures, and Temasek Holdings are already among its shareholders.
