Our direct investment, Gojek, is merging with the online retailer Tokopedia to form the GoTo Group. The merger of Indonesia’s two largest startups will create the largest technology group in Southeast Asia. An initial public offering in Jakarta and New York is planned for the medium term.
The group’s companies have 100 million monthly active users (MAU) and recorded 1.8 billion transactions in 2020. GoTo’s ecosystem accounts for 2% of Indonesia’s gross domestic product.
