Bikeholding GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of KOEHLER GROUP Holding GmbH, has prevailed in the Signa Sports United insolvency proceedings by purchasing all of internetstores GmbH’s valuable bicycle-related assets and, among other things, has acquired key domains and trademark rights from the insolvency estate. These include the domains www.fahrrad.de, as well as www.bikester.at, www.bikester.ch, www.bikester.fr, www.bikester.nl, and www.bikester.be.
On March 20, 2024, fahrrad.de Bikester GmbH is founded. Just a few weeks later, on April 30, 2024, a completely new online store goes live at www.fahrrad.de, featuring new products, new systems, and free of legacy issues. The international stores for Switzerland, Austria, France, the Netherlands, and Belgium are launched seamlessly on the very same day.
