Adding Stephan Belser and Alexander Fiess to its executive management team

Assumption of key responsibilities in public and private markets effective January 1, 2026

The KOEHLER GROUP is appointing two experienced executives from within its own ranks to the Executive Board to actively shape the Group’s continued growth. This expansion of the Executive Board reflects the growing importance of the Group’s capital markets and investment activities and underscores the KOEHLER GROUP’s commitment to further professionalizing and developing these areas in the future.

Stephan Belser, as Managing Director of KOEHLER Equities GmbH, assumes responsibility for the Public Markets division. His work focuses on managing the liquid assets of the KOEHLER GROUP as well as those of René Köhler. In addition, he is responsible for the KOEHLER Equities Fund. Since joining the KOEHLER GROUP in 2022, he has been continuously expanding and strategically developing the asset management business. His focus is on strengthening existing investment strategies, identifying new investment opportunities, and initiating new business across various asset classes. With more than 25 years of experience in asset and portfolio management—including in senior positions at renowned financial institutions—Stephan Belser embodies stability, continuity, and a long-term, successful investment approach.

Alexander Fiess has worked closely with René Köhler in various roles for over ten years and is returning to the KOEHLER GROUP following the successful restructuring and operational realignment of fahrrad.de, where he most recently served as one of the managing directors. He will assume responsibility for the Private Markets division and become a managing director of KOEHLER Capital Partners GmbH. In this role, he will manage investments, oversee M&A transactions, and serve on advisory and executive boards. In addition, he will drive the further development of the KOEHLER GROUP’s Private Markets activities, identify and execute new investments and equity participations across various asset classes, and oversee the Group’s financing activities. His entrepreneurial experience in building, transforming, and scaling business models makes him a key pillar of the KOEHLER GROUP’s future growth strategy.
